Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti said on Saturday there is no need of any military operation in Balochistan.
Speaking to media in Quetta, CM Bugti said: “Balochistan is a big province. We resolve to defend the state at any cost. If my resignation will help end the menace of terrorism, I will waste no time to step down.”
“We have serious concerns over terrorism, and condemning the terrorist activities is not enough,” he said.
“Tomorrow we will make efforts to reach consensus in assembly against terrorism,” he said.
Few days back, CM Bugti said that his government was looking to ensure good governance in Balochistan.
Expressing his thoughts on the luncheon in Quetta, Bugti said: “All the political parties, forming the political parties, are on one page. We are looking forward to addressing the myriad problems faced by Balochistan through bilateral consultations.”
“The province is facing challenges pertaining to law and order, health, education, and the environment," he said.
“We are taking the allied parties on board in Balochistan.
Prominent among those who attended the event were Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Amir Muqam and Balochistan governor.
