Cricket players in Pakistan have been eagerly awaiting the details of the central contracts and the monthly earnings they can expect.
Sources have now disclosed the financial breakdown for players across four different categories.
Category A cricketers, which include prominent names like Captain Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Shaheen Shah Afridi, are set to receive an impressive sum of approximately Rs6 million per month.
Category B players, such as Fakhrzaman, Haris Rauf, Imam-ul-Haq, Muhammad Nawaz, Naseem Shah, and Shadab Khan, are also in for substantial monthly earnings, with each of them receiving Rs4.1 million.
Players in Category C, like Imad Wasim and Abdullah Shafiq, will receive Rs1.75 million per month.
Lastly, Category D cricketers, including Faheem Ashraf, Hasan Ali, Iftikhar Ahmed, Ehsan Allah, Muhammad Haris, Muhammad Wasim Jr., Saim Ayub, Salman Ali Agha, Sarfraz Ahmed, Saud Shakeel, Shahnawaz Dhani, Shaun Masood, Osama Mir, and Zaman Khan, are set to earn Rs 1.13 million per month.
Moreover, players will also benefit from an additional 3 percent of the revenue generated by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) through the International Cricket Council (ICC).
