Former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh and skipper Mithali Raj among many sportspersons who paid tribute to former Tata Group chairman Ratan Tata following his death.
Taking to social media, “Yuvraj said: Mr RatanTata wasn’t just a remarkable business leader - he was someone who set an example for all of us with his integrity, vision, and a deep sense of responsibility towards giving back to society.”
“He used his influence to make a real difference in education, healthcare, and philanthropy - touching millions of lives and leaving behind a legacy which is rare in a world driven by success,” he said.
Yuvraj maintained: “Rest in peace, Mr. Tata. You will be remembered not only for what you built but for how you lived.”
Meanwhile, paying homage to the renowned industrialist, Mithali wrote: “Heartbroken to hear about the passing of Mr Ratan Tata. He was more than an industrialists.”
“He was a symbol of integrity and genoristy. His impact on India and the world will be felt for years to come,” she said.
“May his soul rest in peace,” Mithali maintained.
