A high-level Saudi government and business delegation, led by Investment Minister Sheikh Khalid Bin Abdulaziz Al Falih, met with army chief General Syed Asim Munir on Wednesday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the meeting focused on matters of mutual interest, particularly initiatives to strengthen bilateral cooperation in various sectors.
During the discussions, Gen Asim Munir expressed his deep appreciation and gratitude for Saudi Arabia's unwavering support for Pakistan, acknowledging the contributions of King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in fostering this relationship.

"The arrival of one of the largest business delegation is a testament to the enduring and fraternal relations between our two nations," General Munir remarked, highlighting the deep-rooted bond between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. He also noted that the people of Pakistan hold great love and respect for Saudi Arabia.
General Munir further assured the delegation of Pakistan’s full support and commitment, and conveyed his optimism for the promising outcomes that would mutually benefit both nations.
The Saudi high-level delegation arrived on Wednesday in Islamabad for a three-day visit aimed at forging investment agreements with Pakistan.
The delegation arrived at Nur Khan Air Base, where they were received by Federal Minister Abdul Aleem Khan, Minister of Commerce Jam Kamal, and other senior officials. Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Maliki was also present during the reception.
During the visit, the Saudi delegation is expected to sign up to 30 agreements, potentially injecting $2 billion into various sectors, including agriculture, information technology, construction materials, petroleum, and the power sector.
