President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif have lamented on Monday a lack of global concern over the Israeli atrocity.
Expressing his thoughts during the All-Parties Conference pertaining to solidarity with Palestine, President Asif Ali Zardari urged the international community to take immediate action against the Israeli atrocity.
President Zardari said: "The onus lies on the global community to take action to play its part in lowering the Middle East tensions."
"The global community has failed to stop the Israeli genocide," he said.
"We express our solidarity with the people of Palestine and Lebanon," the president maintained.
"Pakistan has strongly condemned the Israeli atrocity against the people of Palestine," he stated.
"The health and education infrastructures have been badly damaged from the Israeli atrocity," President Zardari maintained."
"41,000 innocent Palestinians had embraced martyrdom due to the Israeli atrocity," he added.
"The innocent citizens of Lebanon and Yemen have also been targeted," President Zardari lamented.
PM Shehbaz calls laments lack of global action against Israeli atrocity
Meanwhile, expressing his thoughts, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said: "I would like to ask from the global powers that they don't see the bloodbath of the innocent Palestinians."
"How they [global powers] surface on the issue of Northern Ireland and Sweden. It is our topmost priority to stop the bloodbath of the innocent people," said the premier.
"Even the situation in Kashmir is not too different, as innocent people have also been killed there," PM Shehbaz said.
PM Shehbaz said: "The innocent children have been martyred in Palestine, and cities have been damaged," he added.
"The president, Nawaz Sharif, and other leaders have expressed thoughts in connection with the Palestine issue."
He commended the APC meeting, saying, "The political and religious figures have always united when there is a need of hour."
"I would like to express my gratitude to all the leaders for ensuring their participation in the conference from the parts of the country," said PM Shehbaz.

Meanwhile, commending the speech of PM Shehbaz at the United Nations (UN), Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif said: "What to do with such a United Nations, who could not implement on its resolution."
"The world is remaining silent on the issue of the atrocity against innocent people of Palestine," the three-time premier added.
"It is quite heartbreaking to see the pictures of the innocent children, who are subjected to atrocity in Palestine," he added.
"Palestine has been subjected to worst violence in the history of the world," Nawaz said.
"Palestine has no military power and weapons," he lamented.
PTI's boycott
Sources divulged that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan has not attended the APC following the decision made by the party’s core committee.
The PTI core committee had asked Khan not to attend the APC meeting pertaining to expressing solidarity with Palestine.
