The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) summoned Bushra Bibi on Thursday in the Toshakhana reference.
Bushra Bibi had been instructed to appear before the combined investigation team. She had been accused of taking gold, a diamond necklace, a diamond bracelet, gold and silver rings, and a bracelet watch in her possession.

Former first lady Bushra Bibi has filed a bail petition before the Lahore High Court to avoid a possible arrest.
In the petition, Bushra Bibi has pleaded that she is the wife of a former prime minister and that her husband is a target of political victimisation.
She claims that institutions like the National Accountability Bureau, Federal Investigation Agency, Punjab police and other agencies have filed baseless cases against her.
She has pleaded that after her husband, now she is being politically victimised. Before June 2022, no case or inquiry was pending against her.
The petition requested for details of all the cases and inquiries since June 2022. It has made the federation, NAB, FIA and others parties in the case.
It further requested for an order against arresting Bushra Bibi in any case till provision of the details of case.

An inquiry report of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) into the allegations of receiving kickbacks and bribes against former chief minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi and his son Moonis has made some shocking revelations.
According to the report, after Parvez Elahi became the chief minister of Punjab, there were several transactions of domestic and foreign currency into the accounts of Moonis Elahi.
It says that an amount of more than 820 million was transferred into various accounts of Moonis.
More than 1.84 million euros, 100,000 pounds and other currencies were deposited in Moonis’s account, according to the report.
It further said that the money was also credited into junior Elahi’s accounts during awarding of contracts for various development schemes in Gujrat.
