The federal government has slashed the prices of all famous brands of ghee by Rs60 per kilogram at the Utility Stores.
A notification has been issued stating that the prices of leading brands of ghee at utility stores have been reduced.
According to the spokesperson of Utility Stores Corporation, the price of branded ghee has been reduced by Rs 60 per kg.
The spokesman said that the price of ghee at utility stores has been reduced from Rs 385 to Rs 325 per kg for Benazir Income Support Program beneficiaries, while the price for general consumers has been reduced from Rs 455 to Rs 395 per kg.
The spokesperson said, the new prices have been implemented immediately.
It should be noted that according to the Federal Board of Statistics, the general market also recorded a decrease in the prices of ghee and oil in September.
