The gold prices in Pakistan witnessed another significant rise on Thursday, reaching a historic high following international market trends.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs1,500, taking it up again to a record high of Rs277,000. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs1,285 settling at Rs237,482.

This increase comes after gold reached a record high of Rs275,500 per tola on Wednesday when prices increased by Rs2,500.
In the international market also, gold rates jumped up. As per APGJSA, the global rate was recorded at $2,665 per ounce, marking a gain of $12 on the day.
Meanwhile, silver prices in the local market remained unchanged, holding steady at Rs3,050 per tola.
