A powerful explosion near a police mobile on the Eastern Bypass in Quetta left nine people injured, including a policeman, according to police reports.
The blast, which was reportedly caused by a remote-controlled device, occurred early this morning, sending shockwaves through the area.
Authorities stated that the explosive device had been installed in a motorcycle parked near the road.
The impact of the explosion severely damaged the police mobile and a nearby rickshaw. Rescue teams promptly arrived at the scene and shifted the injured to a local hospital. One of the injured is said to be in critical condition.
