Former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra on Friday lavished his praise on fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah for bagging 400 wickets across all the formats of the game.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Chopra said: “400 international wickets at an average of 21. For a fast bowler from the subcontinent.”
“That’s absolutely insane. Jassi Jaisa Koi Nahin,” he added.
Acknowledging the ace bowler’s skills, Bumrah said: “Bumrah is not just the best all-format bowler currently, he’s one of the best ever. Skills and brains.”
Earlier, few days back, renowned Indian commentator Harsha Bhogle was expecting something new for India’s 50-over and red-ball captain, Rohit Sharma, following his triumph as the skipper in the recently held T20 World Cup, jointly in the United States and Caribbean.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Bhogle said: “He [Rohit Sharma] might be 37 going on 38, but the next 10 months is an opportunity for Rohit Sharma to cement his legacy as captain of India.”
