The International Cricket Council (ICC) will reach Lahore from Rawalpindi tomorrow (September 20) to review the matters pertaining to the preparations of the forthcoming Champions Trophy, slated to be happen in February next year.
According to the details, after taking rest for a day, the ICC delegation will visit the Gaddafi Stadium and Nishtar Park Sports Complex on September 21 (Saturday).
The delegation will be briefed about the security and upgradation of the stadium ahead of the megaevent.
Meanwhile, the ICC delegation had expressed satisfaction with the facility at the Pindi Cricket Stadium.
Earlier in July, the ICC approved the budget for the 2025 Champions Trophy, on the final day of its meetings.
The budget, meticulously crafted by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in collaboration with the ICC, received the green light after thorough discussions. PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi represented Pakistan in these crucial negotiations.
