According to details, Pakistan batter Babar Azam had also jumped one spot up to bag 11th position. England veteran batter Joe Root has retained the first position.
Sri Lanka batter Kamindu Mendis has reached the 19th position after jumping six spots up.
Meanwhile, Indian seasoned campaigner Ravichandran Ashwin has secured the first position in the bowling rankings in the red-ball format.
Pakistan speedster Shaheen Shah Afridi has returned to the top 10 spots in the bowling rankings in Test cricket.
