Apple is set to unveil a range of new devices, including the highly anticipated iPhone 16 series, at its headquarters in Cupertino Park, California, today.
The event, named the Apple Glowtime Event, is expected to showcase several key announcements.
Among the anticipated reveals are four versions of the iPhone 16 series: the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. These devices will run on the latest iOS 18, which is also expected to be launched at the event.
The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are rumoured to be powered by the A18 Bionic chip, while the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max may feature the more advanced A18 Pro chip. Both chips will likely be based on Arm's latest V9 architecture, designed to support a range of AI tools collectively referred to as 'Apple Intelligence.'
The iPhone 16 series is also expected to feature a new finish, with coloured titanium that offers a glossy appearance, contrasting with the brushed aluminium finish of the iPhone 15 Pro series.
In addition to the iPhone 16, Apple is expected to introduce the new Apple Watch Series 10, the Apple Watch Ultra 3, and possibly a more affordable third-generation Apple Watch SE. An updated version of the AirPods, dubbed AirPods 4, may also be announced.
The Apple Glowtime Event will begin at 10pm PST. The event can be viewed live on Apple's website, the Apple TV app, and Apple's YouTube channel.
