Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) senior leader Qamar Zaman Kaira on Friday rued the "insufficent relief" for the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the last 10 years during the tenure of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Expressing his thoughts, Kaira said: "Today, the country is facing the challenges posed by terrorism. We condemn the terrorist attack, resulting in the loss of precious human lives."
"There are some of the politicians who have made non serious statements in line with the terrorism," said Kaira.
He underscored the situation of "unbridled" inflation in the country, saying, "Right now, inflation is one of the biggest challenges faced by the country. All the political parties are concerned about how to address the matters in line with the whooping inflation."
"The government is not having enough resources to provide the masses with the relief," Kaira added.
"It will be challenging for the government to provide relief to the people in the presence of the International Monetary Fund," he said.
Talking about the government's decision to shut down the utility stores, Kaira said: "I stand by the employees of the utility stores."
