Pakistan women's skipper Nida Dar ousted on Saturday from the captaincy following the Asia Cup debacle.
Sources divulged that Fatima Sana will be appointed as the skipper for Pakistan's women team for the forthcoming World Cup. PCB Director International Cricket Usman Wahla had contacted Dar.
"You are being removed from the captaincy. Fatima Sana will be the captain of the Pakistan women's team. You will be part of the national team," Wahla told Dar.
The sources privy to the development said that it is expected to announce the new skipper of the Pakistan women's team soon.
