Capital Development Authority (CDA) Deputy Director Admin in a message to the heads of all departments banned all labor unions from holding rallies, meetings or seminars during office hours without permission.
The circular alleged that most employees participating in rallies, meetings or seminars remain absent from duty.
The notification stated that daily affairs are badly affected by the activities during duty hours. The Union could no longer hold meetings during office hours from now onwards.
The admin circular urged heads of the departments to ensure the attendance of the director generals, deputy directors.
In the post, the director of security was ordered to monitor the attendance of the employees strictly. In case of non-compliance, strict action will be taken against the concerned employee as well as officers, the CDA circular said.
