The car of stage and film actress Feroza Ali was fired upon by two unidentified motorcyclists late on Monday night in the Sabzazar area of Lahore. The attack occurred shortly after the actress left a theatre.
Feroza Ali miraculously escaped unharmed, but her choreographer, who was travelling with her, sustained injuries in the attack. The injured choreographer was rushed to Ganga Ram Hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment. His condition is reported to be stable.
According to initial reports, the assailants opened fire on the vehicle and then quickly fled the scene, leaving the police to launch an intensive search operation in the Sabzazar area. Authorities are investigating the incident from multiple angles, including the possibility of robbery or old enmity as potential motives behind the attack.
The police have yet to make any arrests, but efforts are ongoing to track down the perpetrators.
