Pakistani embassies across the globe commemorated the country's 77th Independence Day with various events and ceremonies. Celebrations were notably held in Turkey, Sri Lanka, China, and Egypt, featuring flag-hoisting ceremonies and cultural programs.
The events paid special tribute to those who sacrificed their lives for the country. National songs and tableaus were presented as part of the festivities. Many overseas Pakistanis participated in these celebrations.
The ceremonies also highlighted the visions of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Iqbal, the founding fathers of Pakistan. In addition to patriotic displays, cake-cutting ceremonies were held to mark the occasion.
These international celebrations mirrored the enthusiasm shown within Pakistan, as the country's Independence Day was observed with national fervor both at home and abroad.
