After a brief surge in the previous trading session, the price of gold in Pakistan witnessed a decline on Thursday, following a similar trend in the international market.

The price of 10 grams of gold also saw a reduction, dropping by Rs256 to stand at Rs220,680. This decline comes after a significant increase of Rs1,200 per tola observed on Tuesday.
It is noteworthy that the gold market remained closed on Wednesday in observance of Independence Day, further adding to the fluctuations in rates.
Internationally, the gold price also faced a downward trend. The rate per ounce decreased by $4, bringing it down to $2,454, including a premium of $20, as reported by the APGJSA.
Despite the movement in gold prices, silver rates in the local market remained steady, with the price per tola unchanged at Rs2,850.
