After an extended summer break, the hustle and bustle of academic life has returned as public and private schools across Punjab reopen. Following two and a half months of summer vacation, students and teachers alike are settling back into their routines, marking the official end of summer vacations.
In Lahore, schools reopened on Thursday after almost three months of closure, restoring the vibrant atmosphere of educational institutions.
The city’s streets were once again filled with students, some of whom returned with joy and excitement to resume their studies after the long break. Educational activities resumed in full swing, bringing a sense of normalcy back to classrooms as children rekindled friendships and engaged in their lessons.
Similarly, in Multan, government and private schools have resumed their teaching activities. Though the first day of school saw fewer children than usual, those who did attend appeared eager to reunite with their classmates.

The excitement was palpable as students shared stories of their summer adventures, their faces lighting up as they reconnected with old friends.
In Faisalabad also, schools have re-opened after an extended summer vacation. Some students are happy to meet their friends, while others are sad about not getting enough sleep.
The students said they had a lot of fun during the holidays, and wished the holidays were extended.
The extended vacations gave students ample time to relax, but now the focus has shifted back to education, with teachers preparing to guide their students through the new academic year. While the first few days may see a gradual return to normal attendance, the reopening of schools is a sign of the commitment to restoring academic momentum across Punjab.
