The father of Shaheed Lieutenant Uzair Mehmood has expressed his unwavering pride and resilience following his son’s martyrdom. Lt. Uzair Mehmood, hailing from Attack, sacrificed his life while bravely fighting the Khawarijs in Thira.
In his message to the nation, he emphasized the profound significance of martyrdom, stating, “The death of a martyr is the life of the nation.”
He highlighted the sacredness of the land, enriched by the blood of martyrs, whose sacrifices are beyond worldly value.
Expressing his readiness to continue the legacy of sacrifice, he said, “I have two more sons and I am ready to sacrifice them also on this soil.” His words resonated with a deep sense of patriotism and commitment to the country’s cause.
“We will not give up in front of Khawarijs and the victory will be of Pakistan Army,” he declared, showcasing his steadfast belief in the ultimate triumph of the Pakistani forces. He also expressed immense pride in being the father of a martyr, stating, “I am proud that I am the father of a martyr.”
With a heart full of gratitude and acceptance, he added, “I have bowed my head to Allah’s decision and am grateful.” He urged the nation to pray for his family, asking for patience and strength during this challenging time.
