Instagram has improved its functionality to enable users to upload many photographs in a single grid post, following the recent introduction of the ability for users to add notes to their posts or reels.
This much-anticipated news was delivered by the Zuckerberg-led firm on Friday, according to The Verge.
With the most recent upgrade, users can now upload up to 20 photographs in a single carousel post, which was previously limited to 10 photos, commonly known as a "photo dump."
In addition, this updated version adds new functionality to the carousel function, such as the option to assign a song to each picture.
Furthermore, a collaborative post that is a single carousel update may have content added by numerous individuals.
The company highlighted the interesting improvements and flexibility that users will experience with this upgrade.
“Instagram started globally rolling out increased carousels—now you can add up to 20 pieces of content (photos and videos) to your feed carousels vs just 10. The update comes as people look for easier ways to express themselves on Instagram and share more fun content with their friends – just in time for end-of-summer “photo dumps,” said the company.
In this regard, these are individuals who enjoy sharing numerous, well-chosen images from a trip, an occasion, or just a selection of their best moments.
