Pak Suzuki has officially launched its vehicle export operations to Bangladesh and Afghanistan, with the support of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC). The announcement was made by Pak Suzuki's CEO, Hiroshi Kawamura, during the inauguration of the Suzuki Vendor Cluster Area.
The event was attended by Industries and Production Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain, Engineering Development Board (EDB) CEO Khuda Bakhsh, and Industries Secretary Saif Anjum. The newly inaugurated Suzuki Vendor Cluster Area is set to enhance the company's local supply chain and production efficiency.

Hiroshi Kawamura highlighted Pak Suzuki’s longstanding tradition of exporting vehicles and auto parts to Japan since 1997, emphasizing that this new export venture will demonstrate the quality and competitiveness of Pakistani-made vehicles on the global stage.
Rana Tanveer noted that the expansion aims to grow Pak Suzuki's network of local suppliers, boost efficiency, and lower costs through improved local supply chain management. He also praised Pak Suzuki's achievement of producing 2.5 million vehicles in Pakistan, attributing this success to employee dedication, SIFC efforts, supportive government policies, and strong customer confidence.
Government officials present at the event appreciated Pak Suzuki's contribution to Pakistan's automotive sector.
Engineering Development Board CEO Khuda Bakhsh highlighted the company's success in localizing nearly 70% of vehicle components. Industries Secretary Saif Anjum appreciated Pak Suzuki's annual production capacity of 160,000 vehicles and its products.
The SIFC reiterated its commitment to support the automotive industry through policy alignment and export promotion for a "safer and stronger Pakistan".
