A duty magistrate of the PECA court Thursday accepted the bail plea of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Raoof Hassan.
The court ordered the release of Rauf Hasan in the case registered under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016, in this regard, Duty Magistrate Abbas Shah in Islamabad announced a reserved verdict.
On the other hand, Raoof Hasan's release would not be possible on Thursday despite getting bail in the case registered under the PECA Act because Raoof Hasan is in the custody of CTD on a two-day remand by the Anti-Terrorism Court.
