The Met Department has issued a weather forecast indicating that Islamabad will experience hot and humid conditions throughout the day. However, residents should prepare for a shift in weather patterns as the night approaches.
The Met Office says there is a possibility of rain accompanied by strong winds and thundershowers in Islamabad at night.
The forecast suggests that several districts across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, and Balochistan will see rain in the coming days. Areas expected to experience rainfall include:
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Peshawar, Chitral, Swat, Kohistan, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Buner, Malakand, Mardan, Nowshera, Swabi, Haripur, Kohat, Lakki Marwat, Bannu and DI Khan.
Punjab: Lahore, Rawalpindi, Murree, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Sialkot, Narowal, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Kasur, Okara, Sheikhupura, Bhakkar, Sargodha, Mianwali, Faisalabad, Jhang, and Toba Tek Singh.
Balochistan: Quetta, Zhob, Musakhel, Barkhan, Kohlu, Loralai, and Sibbi.
The coastal areas of Sindh may also witness light rain at a few locations, though it is expected to be less significant compared to other regions.
The Meteorological Department advises residents to stay updated on the weather conditions, especially in areas prone to rain and strong winds, and to plan their activities accordingly.
