Recent disclosures have shed light on the frequency and nature of meetings held by Imran Khan, founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), during his incarceration.
From September 2023 to July 2024, Imran Khan reportedly met a total of 1635 individuals, averaging about 6 meetings per day over the span of 365 days.
The breakdown of these meetings provides insight into the diverse range of individuals Imran Khan interacted with. A significant portion, totaling 454 meetings, took place in the meeting room of PTI’s founder.
These included 88 meetings with family members, 223 with lawyers, 119 with political associates, and 14 sessions involving family or specialized doctors.
Additionally, a substantial number of meetings, totaling 1181, were conducted within the confines of the courtroom. Among these, 591 meetings involved lawyers, 273 were with family members, and 317 included interactions with media representatives.
Apart from these face-to-face interactions, Imran Khan also communicated with PTI’s sons on 13 occasions via WhatsApp, underscoring ongoing efforts to maintain communication despite his imprisonment.
