The Frontier Corps Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has reported significant anti-smuggling operations over the past month across various regions, including Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber, Orakzai, Swat, Dir, and Chitral.
In a series of successful raids, the force seized illegal goods valued at 340 million rupees. The confiscated items include food products, clothing, cigarettes, tires, auto parts, and modern foreign weapons.
Additionally, the Frontier Corps intercepted gold and foreign currency being smuggled from Afghanistan, with an estimated value of 15 million rupees.
In separate anti-narcotics operations, 482 kilograms of various drugs worth 45 million rupees were seized.
As a result of these operations, 18 individuals suspected of involvement in criminal activities have been arrested. Legal proceedings against these suspects have been initiated.
These actions are part of ongoing efforts to combat smuggling and illicit trade in the region.
