Ayan Kashif of Danish School Mianwali and Zunaira Mushtaq of Faisalabad have secured top positions in the matriculation results announced by the Lahore and Faisalabad Boards, respectively.
The results highlight the hard work and dedication of students and their families, as well as the quality of education provided by their schools.
Lahore board top performer
Ayan Kashif secured the first position in the matriculation results of the Lahore board with a stellar score of 1190 marks. Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat honoured him by distributing medals and laptops among the top students.
"I got here because of the hard work of my mother and teachers," said the student, expressing gratitude towards his support system. Following the death of his father, he said his mother devoted special attention to his education.

Kashif's mother, overwhelmed with joy, expressed her pride, stating, "My son wants to study software engineering further. I cannot express my happiness in words."
Moreover, Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat congratulated all the top position holders in various education boards of Punjab on Monday night. Posting on his X account, Hayat said he was overjoyed to see the results of the Lahore board where a student from Danish School, a PML-N flagship project, has topped the list.

He further thanked Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for "cracking down on the cheating mafia".
BISE Lahore Controller of Examinations Zahid Mian provided detailed insights into the outcomes, revealing that out of the 250,000 students who appeared, 174,000 successfully passed, yielding an overall pass percentage of 69.75%.

Science Group
- 73.91% of students passed.
- The success rate among female students was notably high, with 80% of girls passing the exams.

Faisalabad board topper
In the Faisalabad board, Zunaira Mushtaq, a student of a government school, clinched the first position in the arts group. She dedicated her success and the medal to her hardworking father.
"I am very happy, and the credit for my success goes to my father," said Zunaira, highlighting her father's efforts in supporting her education. "My father is providing me with an education by working hard," she added, underscoring the significant role her father played in her academic journey. Zunaira aspires to study further and bring pride to her country and parents.
