On Friday at the British Grand Prix, it was revealed that Brad Pitt's previously untitled Formula One movie, co-produced by seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton, will be called F1.
Released in the upcoming year, Formula One announced the title following months of rumours.
Pitt, sixty, was filming movie scenes at Silverstone on Friday. He drives a modified Formula Two vehicle on the track between runs for other racing series.
Last year's American actors' and writers' strike caused a delay in the much-anticipated film.
To ensure authenticity, Hamilton was involved in the writing of the script.
Joseph Kosinski, the director of Top Gun: Maverick, will direct the movie.
