Bangladesh Najmul Hossain Shanto batter Najmul Hossain Shano on Tuesday ruled out of the Asia Cup due to a hamstring injury.
Shanto was injured during the match against Afghanistan on Sunday, where he went on to a score brilliant hundred. In his 105-ball 104, Shanto clobbered nine fours and two sixes.
He found an able ally in Mehidy Hasan Miraz, who also scored a terrific ton. Both Shanto and Miraz played a vital role in powering Bangladesh to an 89-run victory against Afghanistan.
Even in the first match against Sri Lanka, Shanto was exceptional with the bat on a placid track, despite the fact that his team was outplayed by Sri Lanka.
A massive blow for Bangladesh with their star batter ruled out for the remainder of Asia Cup 2023.

Against Sri Lanka, Shanto worked hard to compile a 120-ball 89, smashing seven boundaries.
Despite the fact that Shanto had now been ruled out of the Asia Cup, he played an anchoring role to boost the morale of his team to compete with the other Asian giants in the tournament.
The 25-year-old Bangladesh batter, who made his ODI debut against Afghanistan in 2018, has scored 832 runs in 29 games so far.
