Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) President and former Punjab CM Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi dismissing deal reports reiterated his support for PTI founder Imran Khan.
In a recent statement, Elahi emphasised that PTI has always stood by Khan and will continue to do so in the future.
Emerging publicly for the first time since his release, Elahi addressed allegations and speculations surrounding political deals.
"Listen to those who talk about deals and leeway, I have been in jail for more than a year," Elahi stated firmly, dismissing the rumors as baseless.
He revealed that during his imprisonment, he suffered severe injuries, including five broken ribs, but expressed gratitude for his survival. "Allah saved my life for a purpose," he remarked.
Elahi took a strong stance against what he termed as "misinformation" spread by certain individuals, including some of his relatives and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.
He urged these individuals to cease spreading false narratives, underscoring that their claims of political compromises were unfounded.
Looking ahead, Elahi expressed confidence in PTI's future, asserting that the party would soon return to power. He also called out those he accused of stealing the electoral mandate, particularly pointing fingers at the local political dynamics in Gujarat.
"Those who stole the mandate should first apologize to the people of Gujarat. Until they apologize, nothing will happen," Elahi declared.
