The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted rain showers for Lahore and parts of Punjab, promising a refreshing respite from the scorching heat.
According to Chief Meteorologist Shahid Abbas, Lahore is likely to experience light rainfall, while other areas in Punjab could see heavier downpours, accompanied by a significant drop in temperatures.
“Due to the expected rain, temperatures are anticipated to decrease by up to 7 degrees,” stated Shahid Abbas, emphasizing the cooling effect the precipitation will bring. This change is welcomed amidst the recent heatwave that has gripped the region.
Moreover, Abbas assured that the pleasant weather will continue in Lahore from tomorrow through Saturday, offering residents and visitors alike a chance to enjoy cooler temperatures and possibly clearer skies.
