Indian actress Sonakshi Sinha has addressed ongoing rumours regarding her potential wedding to beau Zaheer Iqbal, asserting that the decision of marriage is solely her prerogative.
In a candid interview with iDiva, Sinha expressed her bemusement over the persistent curiosity surrounding her marital plans. "Firstly, it’s nobody’s business.
Secondly, it is my choice, so I don’t know why people are so concerned about it," she remarked. Sinha elaborated on the disproportionate interest shown by strangers compared to her own family.
"People ask me about my marriage more than my parents, so I find that very funny. Now, I am just used to it. It doesn’t bother me. People are curious; what can we do about it?” she said.
Sinha's comments follow recent statements from her brother, Luv Sinha, who opted to remain tight-lipped on the matter. "I won’t be commenting. It’s better if you reach out to Sonakshi or the other person. All I can say is I have nothing to say on this matter,” he stated.
Adding to the discourse, Shatrughan Sinha, Sonakshi's father and a veteran actor and politician, disclosed his unawareness regarding any impending nuptials. In a conversation with Zoom on June 23, he stated, "I am unaware of the wedding."
As speculation continues, Sonakshi Sinha remains unfazed, emphasizing her autonomy in making personal life decisions. The public’s fascination with her potential marriage appears to be an enduring topic, one that Sinha seems to handle with a blend of humour and indifference.
