Travis Kelce's former girlfriend, Maya Benberry, has expressed her disapproval of the Kansas City Chiefs tight end's newfound romance with pop sensation Taylor Swift.
Benberry, who briefly dated Kelce in 2016 after winning his E! dating reality series "Catching Kelce," is urging Swift to exercise caution.
During their breakup, Benberry, now 31, accused Kelce, 33, of infidelity, claiming he was involved with sports broadcaster Kayla Nicole just five months after their separation.
Although these allegations were shared via now-deleted tweets, they have resurfaced, adding a layer of complexity to Kelce's dating history.
Recently, Kelce and Swift, aged 33, were spotted together for the first time, confirming long-standing rumours of their relationship.
The "You Need To Calm Down" singer joined Kelce in celebrating the Chiefs' victory against the Chicago Bears, marking a significant public appearance for the couple.
Maya Benberry, however, has issued a stern warning to Swift, stating, "Once a cheater, always a cheater."
In an interview with Daily Mail, she continued, "Taylor seems like such a fun girl with a beautiful spirit, so I wish her the best of luck, but I wouldn't be a girls' girl if I didn't advise her to be smart."
Benberry emphasized the importance of discerning who genuinely cares for Swift versus those who might exploit her fame.
It's worth noting that Kelce faced cheating allegations in his previous relationship with Kayla Nicole, leading to a sudden breakup in 2020.
He denied these allegations, and the couple eventually reconciled after several months.
