WhatsApp is revolutionising the way we make voice calls! The popular messaging app has introduced a fresh update for Android users, making incoming calls a more personalized and engaging experience.
Here's what's new:
- Full-screen profile pictures: When you receive a call, the caller's picture will now take center stage on your screen.
- Enhanced call management: Icons at the top allow you to minimize the call window or add more participants from your contact list.
- Additional parameters: The bottom panel now includes a new item to access more call settings.
These innovative features are currently available to beta testers with build number 2.24.12.14 and will soon be rolled out to all users. However, it's unclear if iOS users will also get these updates.
WhatsApp has also introduced other exciting features, including AI-generated profile pictures, resetting unread message counters, and hiding group chats. The app's layout has also undergone a recent makeover for both Android and iOS users.
