The release of the iPhone 16 Pro, which has been fervently awaited by millions of people worldwide, is set for three months later, hinging on the condition that Apple sticks to their legacy of releasing new items in September.
Rumours are afloat concerning the improvements made relative to the previous models, which include a larger display than the iPhone 15 Pro. Stoking the flames, some leaks provide visuals which suggest a great change to the camera setup of the new device has been made. These designs are said to look quite similar to an electric razor.
New leaks
A renowned leaker recently shared some photos on X about the so-called cover of the iPhone 16 Pro, which have raised a storm, specifically due to the larger camera cutout they showcase. These images contain five different covers for the phone in various hues, including transparent and black with blue, purple and white borders complimenting them. The increase in the size of the camera section hints at a variation from its predecessor, provoking thoughts of a larger sensor being present.
Upgrades
Reports show that Apple has upped their game since the new iPhone 16 Pro boasts 6.3 inches, a significant increase from the 6.1 of the iPhone 15 Pro. It also possesses a 48MP camera and a 12MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, which is an upgrade from the iPhone 15 Pro’s 12MP ultra-wide sensor.

Moreover, separate from the known “Action Button”, there are talks of a new “Capture Button” being introduced in the new iPhone which will act as a quicker way to access camera functions such as zooming and more providing users with a much more convenient pathway for camera control. The new phone will be available in the Desert Titanium/ Desert Yellow and Titanium Gray/Cement Gray colour models providing a new source of excitement among those anticipating its release.
