Pakistani television anchor and marathon runner Mona Khan has been released from detention in Greece, following the intervention of the Pakistani Embassy.
According to Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, the Pakistani Embassy in Greece acted swiftly, hiring a lawyer to represent Mona Khan.
Embassy officials also met with her in jail, ensuring her well-being and advocating for her release.

Mona Khan was detained by Greek police during a hiking trip after she displayed a Pakistani flag.
Allegations of mistreatment by the police surfaced, prompting immediate diplomatic action. Mona Khan, who had traveled to Greece with her son, left him in Athens while she went hiking.
Her mobile phone was also seized by the authorities.
The Pakistani Embassy's prompt response included securing legal representation and direct engagement with Greek officials, culminating in her release.
