The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has reported a slight rise in the country's total liquid foreign reserves, which reached $14,585.4 million for the week ending on May 17.
The SBP announced on Thursday that its foreign reserves experienced a modest increase of $22 million, bringing the total to $9,157 million.
During the same period, the net foreign reserves held by commercial banks stood at $5,428.4 million. This slight growth reflects a stable financial outlook for the country.
For comparison, in the previous week ending on May 10, the total liquid foreign reserves were recorded at $14,626.4 million. Of this, the SBP held $9,135.5 million, while commercial banks had $5,490.9 million.
