Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and Japanese Ambassador Mitsuhiro Wada on Sunday resolved to boost investment between the two countries.
According to the details, the Japanese envoy called on CM Maryam in Lahore. On this occasion, both leaders reviewed the matters in line with the exchanging of cultural and educational delegations with each other.
Expressing her thoughts, CM Maryam highlighted the potential of extending partnerships with Japan. "Punjab and Japan can extend their partnership while considering their bilateral interests."
"There are many fruitful opportunities for the Japanese companies in Punjab," she said.
"Punjab is emerging as one of the biggest consumer markets.
She stressed the need to promote public communication between the two countries in a bid to further boost bilateral ties.
Meanwhile, the Japanese envoy said: "Japan gives great importance to its ties with Pakistan."
– CM Maryam heaps praise on Elite Force –
Few days back, CM Maryam lavished praise on the Elite Force on Friday.
Addressing the passing-out parade in Lahore, while wearing the Elite Force uniform, CM Maryam said, "17,000 officers of the Elite Force are rendering their services with unwavering commitment. It is a great responsibility to be a part of the Elite Force. "I am feeling so happy about participating in the event".
"The credit goes to Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif for organising the Elite Force," CM Maryam added.
She maintained: "I would like to felicitate those officers who have emerged successful. I am proud of the passed out youngsters of the Elite Force."
"I would like to pay homage to the martyrs of all the forces," she said.
She acknowledged the role of Punjab Inspector General (IG), Dr. Usman Anwar , saying,Punjab IG remains quite active. I would like to extend my support to him."
"We will ensure to maintain the resources of the police and provide modern technological facilities from the Chief Minister House."
