Google has just released the second beta of Android 15, and it's packed with exciting new features and UI enhancements.
One of the standout updates is the revamped volume control menu, which takes inspiration from Samsung's One UI 6. But Android 15 takes it to the next level with additional media playback options.
With Android 15, you can now change the output of media directly from the volume control menu.
The expanded slider displays an overflow menu, allowing you to adjust the volume of alarms, call alerts, media playing, and notifications. Plus, there's a dedicated volume control slider for media playing on Google Cast devices like Google TV or Home.
What's more, Android 15 offers a feature that's not available on One UI - the ability to switch between Google Cast devices for media playback. And, the entire overflow menu is beautifully colored in Material You, giving it a sleek and modern look.
This update is a significant improvement over its predecessor, and we can't wait to see what other features and enhancements Google has in store for us. If you're eager to try out Android 15, the second beta is now live and available for download. Happy updating!
