A blast rocked the Hazarganji area in Quetta on Sunday, near the Frontier Corps (FC) check post, according to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations.
Police and rescue teams were swiftly mobilised to the site of the blast.
SSP Operations, Jawad Tariq, confirmed that authorities are currently gathering more information related to the incident.
Earlier, a blast rattled the bustling Hazar Khawani Chowk in Peshawar today, as authorities confirmed a bomb planted in the middle of the road triggered the blast.
Fortunately, no casualties were reported, according to police officials.
Meanwhile, authorities have started investigating the incident to apprehend those responsible.
