Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) Secretary Rana Mujahid said that he was pleased to see the team in the final of the Azlan Shah Cup after 13 years.
Expressing his thoughts, Mujahid said: "The good news surfaced again from Pakistan hockey." He also acknowledged the efforts of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chairman of the Prime Minister's Youth Programme, Rana Mashhood in uplifting hockey.
"Pakistan have played brilliantly despite facing challenges," he added.
Mujahid hoped that Pakistan would put up a good performance even in the final of the tournament.
He acknowledged the role of head coach Roelant Oltmans in making efforts to uplift the team's performance.
"PHF President Tariq Bugti had made efforts for funds," Mujahid added.
