In occupied Kashmir, the Bharatiya Janata Party fears losing the elections. Analysts claim that the Modi administration is running from dealing with the oppressed Kashmiris as a result of its defeat.
According to analyst Ravish Kumar, in 2019, the BJP won the elections with the help of lies and is still doing the same today. The BJP, which abolished the special status of Kashmir by cancelling Article 370, is hiding its face when the elections are coming. BJP has not fielded any candidate in Kashmir. The coalition parties are also not ready to accept BJP publicly.
According to National Conference Tanveer Sadiq, people are suffering from intense anger during the last six years of BJP's rule in Occupied Kashmir.
Mehbooba Mufti, the president of the PDP, criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party. She claimed that the division of Jammu and Kashmir by the BJP has weakened popular authority. Additionally, the Modi government's attempt to maintain some face-saving by using proxies in Occupied Kashmir has failed miserably.
