The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has announced the long-awaited results of the highly competitive Central Superior Services (CSS) exams for the year 2023, shedding light on a rigorous selection process that culminated in a mere 2.96% pass rate.
With a staggering 13,800 candidates vying for success, the journey to CSS success proved to be a formidable challenge, with only 408 candidates emerging triumphant. Among these successful candidates, 234 were male and 152 were female, a testament to the growing participation of women in Pakistan's civil service sector.
Following a comprehensive assessment process, 210 candidates received the prestigious recommendation for appointment, marking a significant milestone in their career aspirations. Of these recommended candidates, 126 were male, while 84 were female, showcasing a balanced representation in the final selection.
The FPSC has assured that detailed marks sheets for each candidate will be available on their website soon. This year's pass rate marks a significant decline, indicating a challenging exam season for the aspiring civil servants.
