A section of Indian media is reporting unconfirmed reports that Satwinder Singh alias Goldy Brar, a ‘gangster’ allegedly involved in the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, has been shot dead in the United States amid the alleged gang war in California.
According to a report by News 18, the gangster was gunned down Tuesday (Apr 30) at around 5:30 pm local time in Fairmont and Holt Avenue in California. 1994-born Brar hails from Sri Muktsar Sahib in Punjab and was residing in Brampton, Canada, as per the notification.
As per the Indian media reports, Goldy Brar was standing outside his house when unidentified attackers opened fire at him and fled the scene, the report added.
Two people in total were rushed to a nearby hospital, where Brar was declared dead.
One section of the Indian media Times of India initially published the news of the murder of Goldy Brar but later took down the news from its website. While other media outlets in India citing US reports reported that the gangster behind the murder of Punjabi rapper Sidhu Moosewala was gunned down.

The Dalla Lakhbir gang, run by Arshdeep Singh, also known as Arsh Dalla, and Lakhbir Singh Sandhu, alias Landa has long been a thorn in the side of law enforcement. Its notorious members have been operating from Canadian territory, planning criminal activities in India.
Sidhu Moosewala murder
Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala was shot dead on May 29, 2022, in the village Jawaharke of the Mansa district in Punjab. Back then, Goldy Brar had claimed responsibility for the murder of Moosewala.

Earlier, the India Union home ministry declared gangster Satwinder Singh, alias Goldy Brar, as a terrorist under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act.
He was the alleged mastermind in the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala.
According to the ministry notification, he has been involved in the smuggling of high-grade arms, ammunition, and explosive materials through drones from across the border and supplying them for carrying out killings and providing sharpshooters.
