Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said on Tuesday that ending the corruption in the investigation system was the need of the hour.
According to details, CM Maryam chaired a meeting in Lahore. The briefing was held in line with the prosecution department. The recommendations and proposals were presented to uphold the prosecution.
The meeting highlighted the importance of implementing the digital system to improve the performance of the prosecutor. It was decided to impose the Punjab integrated public prosecutor system. Meanwhile, the “set of skills” was presented in a bid to improve the performance of the prosecutors.
CM Maryam stressed the need for improving the legal standards of a first information report (FIR).

Few days back, CM Nawaz lauded Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for the economic progress in the country.
Expressing her thoughts, CM Maryam said: "For the first time, the stock exchange crossed the psychological barrier of 70,000 points. The investors' confidence increased with the policies of Shehbaz Sharif."
Speaking about the international lender, CM Maryam said: "The International Monetary Fund (IMF), Asian Development Bank (ADP), and other institutions acknowledge our policies.".
She expressed optimism that a reduction in electricity rates and inflation will benefit the masses.
Acknowledging the economic policies of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), CM Maryam said: "The economic policies of the PML-N government are reaping benefits."
She lavished her praise on PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif, saying, "We are paving the way for economic prosperity under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif."
