Fahad Mustafa, a well-known Pakistani actor, has candidly discussed his experiences in the entertainment industry and why he has been relatively absent from Pakistani dramas.
He highlights the ease of working with established stars compared to the challenges of collaborating with younger actors.
In a recent appearance on Samaa TV’s show "Gup Shup," hosted by Vasay Chaudhry, Fahad Mustafa revealed the real reason behind his apparent hiatus from Pakistani dramas. He attributed this pause to a surprising factor: fear.
Fahad Mustafa has shared the screen with industry legends, many of whom have achieved superstar status in the Pakistani entertainment industry.
He expressed his appreciation for working with these established stars, citing their professionalism and experience as contributing factors to the enjoyable work dynamic.
"For quite some time, people ask me why I don't do dramas," Fahad began. "The reason why, if I'm being honest, is fear. I have worked with him (Vasay), Humayun bhai, Mehwish, Mahira, all these people, all of whom are already stars. It's easy to work with stars because there is a reason why they are stars. I feel they are easy to work with."
However, Fahad revealed his reservations when it comes to working with emerging talents in the industry.
He clarified that this apprehension does not stem from doubts about their abilities or talent but rather from a different aspect of the working dynamics on set.
Fahad stated, "The young section is a bit difficult. I'm not talking about talent - just to get along on sets. Because on sets, we don't look at vanities or anything, we're all often together in a room. When we did a film, we would all be sitting together. There was no problem."
This candid insight into Fahad Mustafa's perspective sheds light on the challenges faced by actors in the industry, where professional dynamics and on-set relationships can influence career choices.
