The government of Balochistan has announced rewards for Shahzaib Rind, the karate champion who clinched victory over his Indian counterpart in a recent showdown in Dubai.
Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti warmly received Shahzaib Rind, the captain of the Karate Combat team, in Quetta, where he extended heartfelt congratulations for his remarkable feat against India.
In recognition of his exceptional achievement, the government has pledged a government job, a handsome cash award of Rs2 million, and sponsorship for overseas training along with coverage of travel expenses.
"Shahzaib Rind is the epitome of pride for Balochistan and Pakistan," remarked Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti during the meeting. "His triumph underscores the abundance of world-class talent within our region. We must nurture and support such gifted individuals."
Shahzaib Rind, in response, expressed gratitude to the government for the encouragement and vowed to continue bringing glory to the nation through his sporting prowess.
