Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced on Wednesday that he will give 150 buses from the pool of 300 to Sindh.
Expressing his thoughts in Karachi, the premier said, "I am having brotherly relations with Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah. The Pakistan People Party (PPP) got a mandate in Sindh, while the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) got a mandate in Punjab."
PM Shehbaz stressed the need for collaborative efforts from the centre and provinces to foster the country's economy.
"We will have to take unpopular decisions for the sake of the masses' uplift," he said.
– PM Shehbaz visits mausoleum of Allama Iqbal –
Earlier today, PM Shehbaz visited the mausoleum of noted poet and philosopher Allama Iqbal.
According to details, PM Shehbaz laid a wreath on Iqbal’s grave and offered fateha. The premier was flanked by Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori.
Paying tribute to Iqbal, President Raisi also registered his comments in the visitors' book.
Prominent among those who visited the mausoleum were Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb and Commerce Minister Jam Kamal.
