Pakistani actress Momina Iqbal is fuming over the negative spin social media has put on her recent comments about receiving messages from cricketers.
In her Instagram story, she blasted those spreading "false things" for attention. She clarified, "I never said anything wrong or negative about any cricketer." Even if someone had messaged her, she asserts, "I would have handled it myself."
Expressing her displeasure, the Ehd-e-Wafa actress condemned the propagation of negativity for personal gain, particularly criticizing those who exploit controversies to garner attention for their channels.
She emphasized the importance of mutual respect among individuals, emphasizing that unity and positivity are vital for the well-being of the nation.
“Don’t spread negativity for no reason! I'm surprised at those who post anything just to get views.”
Furthermore, Momina urged her followers to prioritize more pressing issues, such as the recent tragic incident involving the death of Maryam Bibi, a passenger of the Millat Express. She urged everyone to raise their voices where it truly matters and to refrain from indulging in unnecessary disputes.
The actress also responded to a recent interview question by Wasi Shah regarding messages from cricketers, stating that such interactions are common due to their shared presence in the entertainment industry. Momina clarified that these messages typically consist of well-wishes and greetings, with no specific recollection of the cricketers' names.
